It will be warm to too hot mid-day and cool to cold late night or early morning, based on normal temps for the season. *No collecting vegetation forfirewood on the property *No fireworks *No gunfire *No hunting *No loud music. Sound carries big time here! * No excessively bright lights, light bars, spot lights, etc. Please do not use your headlights to set up camp, as it will easily disturb other campers and affect stargazing. *No generators *Stay on the roads. Leave no trace. *Don't take anything from the property including plants or rocks *Leave no trace. Leave it how you found it. *Respect the land and big bend! Thank you! C'est mon camp préféré où séjourner chaque fois que je suis à Big Bend ! Il est isolé et très proche de l'entrée du parc. Je recommanderais cet endroit à tout le monde ! This is my favorite camp to stay at anytime I’m in big bend! It’s secluded away, and super close to the park entrance. I’d recommend this place for everyone!

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au camping. Idéalement situé à Terlingua, près de l'entrée ouest de Big Bend. À titre d'information, la route menant au camping traverse quelques lits de rivières asséchés et peut être difficile à franchir avec une grande remorque. Enjoyed staying at the campsite. Conveniently located in Terlingua near the western entrance of Big Bend. FYSA the road leading to the campsite crosses a couple of dry river beds and may be difficult to cross with a large trailer.

C'était un endroit calme, mais aussi proche de la ville. Après les deux premiers jours, nous avions pratiquement l'endroit pour nous seuls ! Les vues étaient fantastiques et nous avons apprécié entendre les coyotes hurler près de nous une nuit. This was a quiet place, but also near town. After the first couple of days, we pretty much had the place to ourselves! Views were fantastic and we enjoyed hearing coyotes howling near us one night.

C'était vraiment un endroit idéal pour camper, observer les étoiles et se déconnecter de la réalité pendant quelques jours. Le lever et le coucher du soleil étaient mes moments préférés. Endroit très calme et paisible, avec une station-service à quelques minutes en voiture pour tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Mel a répondu très rapidement et ses indications pour accéder au site étaient claires et faciles à suivre. Elle nous a même donné quelques mises à jour sur la météo. Elle était également gentille et généreuse. Je reviendrais sans hésiter si je repasse dans la région. This was a really great spot for camping/ stargazing and disconnecting from reality for a couple days. Sunrise and sunset were my favorite part. Super quiet and peaceful place with a short drive to gas station for anything you would need. Mel was super quick to respond and her directions to site are quick and easy. She even gave us some updates on weather. She was kind and generous as well. Would stay again if i was in the area.
