Access to the campground is a mile and a half of mild to moderate pretty bumpy uneven dirt roads. 4x4 not required, *but you will need high clearance*

Convenient location! Close to Everything! The view of the Chisos mountains from camp is about the best around. Front and center is Emory Peak, the highest point in the park at 7860 ft. Gas station, restaurant, laundromat, bank, only 1.5 miles from camp. Grocery store is 3 miles. Entrance to BBNP is 5 miles. The state park is 15 miles away on hwy 170. Terlingua ghostown is 5 miles.
